    Lock shots are three "pods" that wrap around and engulf the ball. Multiball starts when the "pods" are opened putting all three balls in play along with the fourth ball that completed the corresponding shots.

    And randomly when starting that multiball it should choose to not open one of the pods shorting you a ball occasionally LOL! Or maybe you have to complete a shot to release the last ball from the pod.
