Turned on the game with the toggle switch. Then hit start and the ball kicked out and the score motor started running but the score reels didn't reset. No power to flippers. But score motor keeps running and ball kicks out each time you drop it down the outhole. I thought the ball only kicked out if the start sequence completed? How can the score reels not even move but the ball kicks out?

Welcome to the world of EMs - You need to get a set of schematics and read clay's guide to em repair. Not trying to be blunt, but that's where you should start.

it looks like on that game if the game over relay (QB) and last ball relay (XB) aren't tripped when you reset the game, the F relay can power and the ball kicks over to the shooter. Either of those tripped and the ball stays in the outhole.

assuming your game is like that, but the SB relay is getting tripped, you can ignore the ball for the moment and deal with why the score reels aren't resetting.

relay D3 should power first when SB is tripped and zero out the 4th player and 3rd player 100/1000 reels. When those are zero, D3 releases and D2 powers to zero more reels, then D1.
