Here's a crazy though.
On the original it's mostly the plastic that's ugly (at least I think so), low rez screen grabs from the movie, the play field art is pretty nice (for being a stern), it's mostly spidey dressed in his suit. I think it would be pretty cool if you where able to buy a plastic kit for the VE and put it on the original, would they fit though?

I would even be willing to go the rout making my own plastics for the game if I only knew of a good way to have them silk screened on to the plastics.

I'm pretty sure I could design way better right and left sling plastic, being a graphic designer but the hard part would be to actually manufacture them.

I would even consult the pinside community.

I did a couple of quick mockups for alternative sling plastics.

If I had the contacts to get the plastics cut and printed these could become a reality, sadly I do not have any contacts like that.

See, I he would be interested in doing a new run but with my graphics and I could get in on the action.
I could also do a new design for the outlane plastics, those tribal patterns are doing my head in.
I'll get him all the graphics in 300dpi. Ready to print.

Yeah, that way would be fine if you're making just one pair.
Imagine doing that over and over, you would have to charge $100 per pair for it to be worth your time
