Quoted from PeterG:Here are mine, I could ask the guy that made these to do a small run?
See, I he would be interested in doing a new run but with my graphics and I could get in on the action.
I could also do a new design for the outlane plastics, those tribal patterns are doing my head in.
I'll get him all the graphics in 300dpi. Ready to print.
Well just had contact with him and that will not be a cheap solution. Everything is possible but will be hard. The plastics are professionally cut on a laser cutter, the prints are on special paper where you have to take at least a square meter. He still has the ones mentioned in my previous post, the four versions.
So if someone has a better idea to do this low budget but with good results.....
I own the OG version. Had the opportunity to grab a VE and let the OG go. But unlike others I said "no". In my opinion the art is horrible, green goblin got totally revamped and the call outs are enough to drive the roaches out of the house. So if you have a bug problem go with the VE. However, most complaints like the DMD are really no factors to me. That's why ColorDMD run out of stock all the time. The art is brighter on a VE so there's that. Most would have jumped at a OG if they could have afforded it back in the day. But who wouldn't if money is no object? Just be glad you can get either now. Flickering LED got brought up by someone, must not know much about LEDs. So, I say play both and see what you like. No hurry! It's like this post. Everyone has an opinion just like everyone has a butthole. Or they are full of, never mind. Buy what you like, not what I like or the other guy likes. It's yours in the end and who cares what others think? It's all a money pit anyway.

Yeah, that way would be fine if you're making just one pair.
Imagine doing that over and over, you would have to charge $100 per pair for it to be worth your time

Agree, I am not into this for business, just to create some of these.
