Hi, what is the normaal exit from the spider sense shot? Inlane or flippers?

Im making it , but more often than not it dribbles out and bounces into the right outlane, not a cool reward .. this on a VE btw

Is the ball meant to just clip the metal post or does the ball guide need more bending for smooth exit?

I have had my Spidey (black) for almost 7 years. My vote is right inlane is where it was designed to go...though I have heard of people having issues with right outlane drains as you have described.

So, took out the guide, gave it a minimal twist, so its flush with the little post, this gives straight drains through the middle.

a little back, minimal, taps top sling rubber, to left flipper, every time.

a little further, same issue as before.

settled for the left flipper option, works for me, amazing how this slight tweak of the guide affects this so much, shows every machine is different in its own way,

thanks mr Dug

speaking of which... I never really understood the value of the spidey sence shot. Anyone care to elaborate on the scoring and strategy. It's such a critical shot in Start Trek... seems like on spiderman, the shot doesn't do much for you.

It multiplies and awards extra score over your active/ achieved modes on that ball, as far as I know, and it awards add-a-ball during multi.

The exit to the Spidey Sense is designed to have randomness and requires some skill and luck to avoid the outlane.

well seeing I have bad luck and no skill this is now perfect for me )

Quoted from ninjabones:

It's the final shot in Super Hero- good luck!

Besides that, as was noted, it is an add-a-ball during multiball after the standups have been completed.
