just throwing this out there, because my backhand angle changed on my dolly parton with different flipper rubber. with natural red rubber, I could hit the 4 inlines like clockwork. When I changed to superbands, I could only consistently hit the first one, every other one would get rejected. Same machine, same hardware, no physical adjustments, just different bands.
