Game looks great. Price does not...

A few random thoughts:
- People are suggesting that buying these new plastics to put on Movie Spidey will look good. They will clash and look awful imo.
- The game looks great. I think it's about $500 above what I would personally pay for it though. It has elements of a premium/LE (laser siderails) but not enough to justify premium/LE pricing.
- I'd rather drop $6,000 on a reskinned pin that I know is great, over spending the same amount of money on one I've never played.
- A lot of people here complaining about this game either cannot afford it, don't even collect modern pins, and/or only buy games from other manufacturers... You have a biased opinion to say the least.
- People keep talking about LOTR & Tron VEs like they are a foregone conclusion. There is no chance that Stern invests money on these titles because there simply aren't new movies coming to keep them in the public consciousness. People seem to forget that Spider-man is going to be making cameos in future Marvel movies and will likely end up in The Avengers at some point. They are also still making Spiderman movies so it is extremely relevant. Same goes for Iron Man. VEs make sense there.
Quoted from MikeS:So when does the Tron VE come out that's based on the original movie? You know that's coming at some point in the future. Ghostbusters will be a hit based on what I've seen/heard so far. The original Ghostbusters and original Tron really tug at those nostalgic 80's heartstrings!
Ghostbusters is coming because there are at least 2 new movies being released in the near future. It only partially has to do with nostalgia.
Tron 3 was proposed and then cancelled. That tells you enough about the general public's interest in all items Tron. Don't expect to see a Tron VE. Iron Man and Spider-man still have hugely successful movies being released, which is why it made sense to make a VE there.
