I had the oppertunity to play this Vault Edition at EAG in London yesterday - unfortunately - I haven't really paid attention to the significance of the machine compared to the other editions of Spiderman.
Other than to say - its a sweet game to play. I would have probably turned up the shaker - I'm used to the bone rattling shaker performance on WOZ and LOTRLE - and to me - it was't prominent enough.
I liked the engraved side rails, and artwork.
Compared to the other 3 machines next to it (Star Trek, Kiss, and Game of Thrones), I thought it was leagues ahead of all 3 in all areas.
I realise the others where pro's and not 'Edition' models - but still - those are my thoughts.
I feel a little embarressed to not be able to comment more on the differences compared with other Spiderman models. I feel though that JJP has advanced machines far more - and to re-release a game without much of significant improvement in tech is a bit of a shame.
Had Hobit been at the show - it would have overshadowed it entirly.
Its still a damn enjoyable game to play though.
