I am looking for any information on the mod and programming involved in changing the SM upper flipper to allow the shot to go behind the upper flipper into the shooter lane.

I believe I read about it here on pinside, but I can not find it using a search....

Any ideas or links to posts?

I'm on a mission today and ordering some parts! Will this mod require any change in settings or does the code recognize the ball in the shooter lane after rolling over the spidey sense switch?

I just purchased a SM from JJ @ GEX and can't wait to start beating the rods out of it playing at home.

I was in San Francisco for a couple weeks and had a SM in the wild just next door from my hotel, it was great. I probably donated $100 to the operators kids college fund...great game.

Ok, I have all of the parts to put in this mod. Does anyone have the length to cut the ball guide rail? Are there directions posted somewhere? I can't access the RGP forums to search there. Thanks for any info.

Pictures will be on the way, hopefully soon. I have all the items/parts, now I just need to find the time to actually do it. I am also trying to find the lengths to chop the ball guide? Pretty sure I can wing it...but I would appreciate any guidance if someone out there has this mod and could give me the gouge.
