I had placed that text in the PinWiki, but the solution was premature.
I never did figure out what caused the issue with the board.
It would seem to "mix up" the phenomes. Sort of like splitting a word into syllables then reassembling the syllables in random order. Very odd.

I no longer have the board. I had to send it back unrepaired. I spent a long, long time on that board. Nothing worked.
