Here are the mods I made to my Special Force machine. I added some LED strips to the upper playfield that stay on constantly. This gives the upper playfield some subtle lighting even in attract mode, where normally there is literally no general illumination in the upper playfield. After a bit of experimentation I decided to go with a blue LED strip on the left side of the machine and an orange strip under the right ramp. The photos and videos don’t show LED lighting very well but the blue effect looks great during attract mode because it simulates night time moonlight.

I added a Predator action figure to the playfield because it just seemed fitting to the theme. There is also a military chopper mounted above the tree canopy and when the chopper ramp shot is made the propellers spin for 7 seconds. I used a micro switch and an Arduino Uno controller to make this work. I added plastic palm trees, military vehicle toys, and a few army men as well. This is a 100% LED replacement as well.
