I'm considering buying a PinballPro combo speaker/subwoofer kit and I'm wondering whether this is something that I could just do myself and shop the local car stereo store for a good deal. Has anyone gone this route? It appears that the PinballPro speaker system incorporates a "network" that routes some sounds to the subwoofer - not sure if this Is something you can do on your own. I have no speaker knowledge whatsoever, but, then again, I had no pinball repair knowledge a year ago either...

Just found a site that looks promising:

Just printed out everything from that site to read and it is a lot to digest - but looks promising.

Interesting Loupie - I would have thought that any speaker upgrade would make a noticeable difference.

I'm thinking of upgrading the sound on my SW DE, WCS and/or HSII. I see WCS is on Donnyman's list. What kind of difference can I expect if I upgrade the other two?

Just seems to me that these guys are likely branding someone else's speaker as their own as opposed to making their own speaker specialized for pins. If that is the case, why not do-it-yourself for significantly less? Might have enough left over to buy a set of those mirror blades...
