Has anyone upgrade their Theatre of Magic speakers...if so, is there a noticeable difference and is it really worth doing? Also what brand/set-up would you recommend?

Worth it if you are interested in upgrading your collection.
I have a Pinnovators headphone kit on my ToM and my POTC, which I use with Bose noise-cancelling headphones. I'm very happy with that setup!

Agreed! Same setup on my TOM, lots of grumbling low frequency sounds i never really appreciated before! Definitly a big noticeable difference!
