Ok going to change out my TZ Speaker panel cover due to a large scratch right in the middle. Got the replacement. I know these are glued on. Any Tips on best way to remove the old one? Also what glue to use on installing the new one? Any good tips and tricks from the pros?
Thanks

Are you sure it's glued on? You should be able to just lift it out, and remove the top clip and it will come right out.

no this is glued on to the wood in a few spots. Not fully, thankfully. But sounds like they are not supposed to be glued?

It definitely doesn't need to be glued to stay in place once you replace it.

it may be attached to the wood using adhesive squares. you can try to pull on it gently to see where it is attached and then use a hair dryer to warm up the area in question, causing the glue to release.

the marquee panels on the williams joust were actually completely glued (and screwed with 6 carriage bolts) to the cabinet, but with a lot of patience and a hair dryer, I was able to soften the glue enough to pull the old marquees off and replace them.

They peel off if you do it carefully and slowly. Didn't need any tools. Used foam mounting tape to install the new one.

You can buff out even deep scratches- start w/ wet sanding 150 grit, work your way up to 1000 or finer, then Novus 3,2,1. Sand a large enough area so you don't see a 'valley'.
