As always the original is the best!! Doug is the original maker of Speaker Light Kits. He is a one man operation. He tests before shipping. I've seen some of the copies and they're 3-d printed and don't look or have the same quality as the original.

100% agree. The flaming frames are a long wait, but worth it. His other kits are great too, easy install, and very good communication if questions arise.

Yup. Have them in all my pins. Amazing quality and perfect fit.
If doing a game or two, speakerlights are pretty nice and economical. If doing all your games, a diy approach can get you massive savings and you can recreate the same thing. The actual rings used in these kits are 3d printed and easy to create for a professional look and install.

Doug has a good product, but he's a bit like the soup nazi. If he gets upset, he will act out like a Karen.
For a comparable product with better customer service from someone who puts customers first, I recommend Brian at Myth pinball. His kits are awesome and he's great to deal with.

Ditto that.
And for what it's worth, I've got a design for 5.25" speakers that you can print that replaces the metal speaker mounting plate with a 3D-printed one that accommodates a ring that can be printed in translucent/clear filament, to accommodate DIY LED lights.

Main reason I designed that was to upgrade the 4" speakers in my Rush to 5.25". But I wound up deciding it was easy enough to accommodate LEDs too, so it's an option for the DIY crowd.
Hello

Hey could you send me a video or pics when you have yours installed?
Quoted from Geeterman1:I used myth pinball for my godzilla. I’m happy with the product and fast turnaround time.
I have Myth kits on my GZ premium, JP premium, and Beatles. They all look great.
And all are adjustable for unique patterns, flames, and colors.

That may largely depend on what game you are looking to get a speaker light kit for.
I sell them for Data East, Sega and Stern games from Back to the Future (1990) through Stern's current SPIKE 2 titles (2022). My light kits sell for $45 - $120 with the current Stern SPIKE 2 games having 4 different light kit types to choose from. I also carry a large selection of other Speaker Light Kit accessories that you may want or need to go along with your light kits. All of my light kit types (14 in total) are shipped in 0 - 3 days, except for the latest ("Flamin' Frames" type 14, $120) light kit, which is currently taking about 5 months to ship.....with "it was worth the wait" being the most common customer comment after their type 14 light kit is delivered.
Speaking of shipping, I pride myself on not overcharging on shipping fees. You will only be charged retail USPS Priority pricing or lower. International orders ship using the lowest priced First Class (USPS) or UPS shipping, depending on the order size and current USPS vs UPS price. International sales make up 17% of my current year business.
Most of the information on the light kits and their features, as well as their install instructions, are on my website for anyone to see before placing an order. My Speaker Light Kits are made using various materials that are best suited for each light kit type. This includes aluminum, powder coated steel and 3D printed materials. Each light kit was conceived, designed, developed, hand assembled, and each component is tested by me personally in Ripley, OH USA. I have been making the Pinball Speaker Light Kits since I first come up with the RGB color changing pinball Speaker Light Kit idea and design in late 2012. I have been selling them through my own website since early 2014.
If you have any questions that you do not see answered on my website, feel free to contact me and ask ([email protected]).
I hope this helps,

I got the speaker light kit from Myth Pinball in my Godzilla.
It’s a fantastic product and the order process was super smooth via pinside shop and Apple pay.
Easier than ordering from Amazon. Almost too easy.
Double click, face ID and a few days later, the product was in my mailbox. Installation took a few minutes and the result is just spectacular.
