    Speaker Light Mod!.......

OK, Got a Speaker Light Mod from Pinballtoppers.com and I have to say these are Awesome.....

So now,, my question is: when I followed the directions and ran the power wire down to the lower right portion of the playfield..... the 3 prong 'molex' connector was already taken up by my 'topper' that I probably got from them also... (I think)...

So I need a 3 prong power connector 'splitter' that I can connect both of these to....

I am sure there will be other modifications that I want to do... that I will require this same power connector....

So anybody have any suggestions? Can't figure where to get them... I can do Amazon or anywhere else but don't know how to describe it other than 3 prong Molex power connector which will get you about 180 different results that ARE NOT what I need.

    all help appreciated.

How much are you looking to add?

Here is a good option for a lot of added mods. - http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=2981

As far as a splitter just for that what I've done is I go to radio shack and pick up the pins for the connectors. Strip the wires for the mods and put them together and crimp them in. Just did this for a buddy to. Works great but if you need more the above is good.

Another option if you just need a couple is - http://pinballpro.net/shop/stern-pinball-12v-power-splitter-x3/ or http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=1802

You didn't need to look any further than the place you ordered the light kit from (fourth item down) ....

As Always... So much appreciate the information provided from this forum..... The splitter that has been suggested will do just nicely!

Funny thing is ... I work for a Computer Electronics company, and we order this kind of stuff all of the time... 4 pin molex (power).. 3 pin mini (power connector for fans)... 2 pin min (motherboard)... etc, etc, etc....

Just didn't know how to properly put this on our distribution list for next truck.... what the heck is this connector called?

    BUMP....

I don't suppose anybody else knows what these 3 pin power plugs are either... (with the triangle on one end, looks like a four pin molex except that it's 3 pin and angled on one end).....

    Anyhow, appreciate all responses.

I am installing this excellent speaker light mod on 2 machines... Tron and ACDC.... I installed on ACDC already but had to disconnect my other mod to do this one because I did not have the splitter that I need.

    Thanks

    As always, thanks so much.

So next question is: The coil is burned up on the lower pop-bumper on my new Tron and it's not covered under warranty.

I've got ahold of my repair guy and he asked me what part number it is? I thought I had a service manual but I guess I don't since I didn't get the LE.

so.... does anybody know the part number.... and better yet... where do I purchase from since he may not have it in stock?

OK... as I am writing this I realize I should probably put this in another post... BUT ,, if anybody has the answer it may save me some time.

    Thanks
