The Sparky on my MET barely moves when it's supposed to. Basically, it bobbles just slightly when engaged. I had this problem out of the box. Any ideas?
The spring on the back of sparky is attached to a 90 degree metal bracket. sometimes that bracket is not a 90 degree and so the spring does not hold as tight as it should. see if that is your issue.
Mine has been that way from day one , I haven't found time to really tear into it though . It is in my plans for the near future , he's so dull when he barely wobbles .

Bingo...I had the same issue, bend the bracket with the coil a bit so the shakes are more pronounced.
