Well since there are so many spanish manufacturers and machines and no one thought about making a club thread so far, I thought to myself why not make one then.

You are in the right place here if:
-You own a spanish made machine
-You want a spanish made machine
-You love playfields with a thicker clearcoat or acrylic sheet than the wood
-You want to help other owners.

Feel free to show off your gems and have a chat or help others seeking advice.
So be nice everyone and enjoy

Other than Segasa-Sonic and Zaccaria, who else is there?

    #3 1 year ago

here is a good article on Spanish pinball manufacturers on pinball news...

Recel and Playmatic are a couple more that are occasionally found in the US. There are probably some others rarely seen here.

I'm in. Sonic Mars Trek and Prospector

Other manufacturers from Spain would be: Juegos Populares, Sleic, Inder, Spinball, Interflip, Recreativos Franco, and so on.

Long story short there have been a lot of manufacturers from the 60s to the mid-late 90s.
And some really awesome pins to play and collect, a whole world of its own so to say

There are lots of cool Spanish games out there. I used to be really into the rare ones. At one time I had Mach 2, Jolly Park, Verne’s World, Mephisto, Io Moon and Metal Man. The only one left here now is Verne’s World. Such a neat game with great toys.

    Jesus, that's a beauty.
My personal collection atm contains an Aqualand by Juegos Populares and a Fantasy by Playmatic.
For our museum I imported a Jolly Park which turned out to be a prototype and we also somehow got an Odin prototype, other than that a MAC Space Train, Playmatic Last Lap, Big Town, UFO-X and more

Does anyone know the weight of the Jolly Park pin (pounds or kilos)?

Its a beast... when i had mine shipped- Its shipping weight with pallet was 384lbs.

    Perfect, thanks!

    #16 1 year ago

I now own 2 Spanish pins, Mars Trek by Sonic, and Last Lap by Playmatic.

Am I correct to assume the LEDs in Last Lap are absolutely unobtanium? I seem to have some legs out

    #17 1 year ago

Just discovered this club..... I'm in!

Love the Spanish games. Just scored a Last Lap and Black Fever by Playmatic, and a Hot and Cold by Inder. Have owned my Segasa-Sonic Mars Trek and Cherry Bell for a longtime now, and they are both tough and perennial tournament favorites here. Interflip's Dragon is another-- completely unique.

I have long wanted a Unidesa Mephisto machine... I know at least one Pinsider has one. Awesome ramps, crazy looking machine

Thanks for answering that. It's actually me who's working on getting one. Would anybody happen to know if the Spinballs have painted cabinets or if they used decals? One option has a pretty messed up cabinet. I have zero painting skills, so wouldn't know where to begin. And if it's a decal, where would you ever get a replacement. It is tempting though. I'd love to bring it back too it's former glory. Also, did they use a backglass or translite? Thanks!

    #21 1 year ago

They are painted cabinets. They also used a translite, not backglass. I am only speaking of Jolly Park, not sure about the others. The cool thing about the translite is that it is on double hinges, so you can swing it out either direction(left or right) for easy access to the backbox.

I see from your collection you like theme-park pins. This game has an amazing theme-park feel, and is super colorful. It would be a nice fit in your collection. Good luck!

I got this beautiful EM Inder Luck Smile, however it again has problems with its motor. The motor keeps on spinning. commonly caused by broken wire at the back of the number-wheels. this time I fixed them again, however the motor keeps on spinning.

does anyone have any tips where to look on the bottom board, of have a wiring diagram available for the Luck Smile?

Check that all the relay switches are making good contact. My Sonic Mars Trek kept resetting constantly because 1 point relay wasn’t making good contact

Thanks, things are starting to look promising. Cabinet could use some touch-ups. Definitely not my area of expertise, and that one looks like tough one to learn on.

I have a Playmatic Conquest 2000 and picking up a Sagasa Cannes this weekend...

    #28 1 year ago

Add me to the club. I have owned a Playmatic Conquest 200 for 2 years now. Game is super sweet. I put a "power ball" in it and the game play is fast and furious. I would really like to add a few more Playmatic's to the collection. Pic porn below.

All of my EM’s have poweballs. I hate playing slow EM’s where the ball just swirls around and takes it’s good old time gettng back to the flippers. At $40 each, it’s a tad expensive but makes the gameplay so much better in my opinion.

I had recommended this as a local collector near me has done that to his EMs. They play so much faster and they’re really fun now!

I was wondering where you recommend getting them from? It seems hard to find a source

Looks like they dropped in price. Pinball life has them.

Holy crap you have a Last Lap?? I sold mine to a friend and the game never came with a backglass, could you take a really high resolution picture and post it?? It would be GREATLY appreciated so he could make a translite for it.

Also I find it amusing you just put those games on a power converter rather than change the plug! Haha

The sound is working perfectly, but my game did not come with the 8-Track player.

I have been in touch with your friend. I literally just got these games set-up on Tuesday.

I plan on changing the games over to 110v as soon as I figure out how to do it. They came over from France and still are set-up for 220v.

I believe you just have to change the lug the live wire is on. The one I had was rewired for 120v and the thread is on Pinside.
Thanks for your help! You’ll enjoy them for sure

Well they were made of Williams parts so they’re easily available, but still curious why you offer.

I realize that but thought someone may want some original parts with Segasa coil labels. If not I can just toss them as I'm a SS collector.

Well don't toss them. Somebody will want them. If I had a Segasa machine having Segasa labeled parts would be bonus.

Well I'm an EM guy that sometimes has early Gottlieb SS parts and has actually gave away parts just so they don't go in a dumpster, and even spent my own money on mailing them to folks. I respect SS guys and gals who love their SS machines as much as I love EM's and know these parts are valuable to them, just as EM parts are valuable to me and others who love them.

Wife is after me to clean up the garage! I have a complete Monaco game minus the cabinet and head. This is why I'm asking if anybody needs something. I don't want to toss them but, happy wife happy life. So is there anyone who needs something, PM me soon.
