have you looked into the PROC? I have one set up with a custom system 11 driver board. it might save a bunch of dev time vs starting from scratch.
oh and maybe a spinner somewhere, should be a tight shot.. so when you hit it clean you get that special pinball feeling.
Good stuff on the ball management, it's been a while since i messed with my p-proc, but it was something i never had working to my satisfaction. The grand lizard ball lock will get the second and third ball bouncing up and rolling over the lock switches.. tricky unless you want to wait seconds for balls to settle.
I think most people would agree that the way wpc playfields slide out and flip up is superior to stern. I just built a cnc'd backbox flat pack.. check it out when you come by.
He mentioned that he was working on the electronics today, i'm sure he'll show the progress when he has the hardware design finalized.
Pick up a nib! They deliver to your door
Edit: to bring it back on topic. What's the next mech you're going to build/print?
When you start poking your nose around this game, it's pretty crazy how many custom bits and pieces wolfmarsh has in this thing. He's got serious hours clocked on this project.
I got some time on spaceballs this weekend. I think everyone will be pretty happy when wolfmarsh brings it to sfge next year. The guy he got for the callouts sounds very professional. The rules are pretty early on, but already have some neat nuance and depth. I would be surprised if wolfmarsh doesn't have a handful of guys begging him to build them one after sfge 2018.
Quoted from Wolfmarsh:Thanks for all the play testing, I have a lot more work to go, lol.
I wish i clocked more time on it.. way too many distractions in the wolfmarsh factory.
