Your GI string is out. It is the Green/white strand. You should trace it out, and first check all the connectors.

Quoted from Bowmallyboy:I traced the white and green wire it all seems good with the meter it all works till the board with the pardon my ignorance the board with a block all the connections test fine. The plugs are fine and not burned or corroded. They seem to stop here. They don't seem to continue to the main board but when I test the wires from this up to the board they work?

Double check your white/green wire to the interconnect board (left wall inside head), and then from the interconnect board to the 3J8 plug on the power supply board. Make sure you have continuity.
1 - should run to the GI strand on the backbox insert board. 2 - should run to the supply supply board, connector 3J8 pin 8

Side note, are you missing half of the lights on the very top light light board that illumated half of the space station logo?

The connectors are Molex .156 connectors, and you will want to also buy the Phosphore bronze coated pins for the higher amperage. You can buy both of these parts from GreatPlainsElectronics.

You will also want to reflow at least the header pins and relay (big orange box) on the little board you pulled out. The joints look like they are cracked.
That is ugly, but I am sure it works. Mine was burnt very similarly. Start with repining the connectors and see what you get. Check continuity on all your connections as you go. I wouldn't use a different connector than what is in the game in case later on someone wants to diagnose or replace a part.
That board might be hard to find as a replacement, especially one in better shape.
Quoted from pins4u:I would be cautious about that new connector, J1 on the left top. It looks to be installed the wrong way around?
Maybe that won't make a difference depending on what wires it is joining but I would check carefully first.
EDIT: - look at the picture in post #5, it shows that connector (J1 left) the other way around. I would trace the wires and confirm where they actually go to before powering up again.
Good catch on the reversed connector.
