Quoted from interconnect:

Has anyone here replaced their power supply? Just found that my power supply is actually from a Hyperball and have been having issues with audio hum. Long story short, I'd like to replace the power supply as the one that's in there is not the correct one at all. Has anyone successfully installed the Pin Tek PTK-DE5000 one?
https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/PTK-DE5000
I use this power supply in my Space Shuttle and have had no issues. Just want to be sure before installing it in my Space Station. It's listed as compatible for System 3 - 11a, however Station is 11b. I know that 11a MPU's will work in Station though (just kind of confusing) and Marco lists Space Station as a compatible game. Just want to be 100% sure before purchasing, ya know.

If Station is 11B, the 11-11A ps will not work. Has completely different connections

Quoted from interconnect:

Has the same connections; just looked. I think technically Station is 11b, but it is well known that 11a boards work in Station.

That is weird. I guess it was made right before the interconnect board. But yes it looks like it’ll work

Quoted from gizmo33:

Hello,
I did a diode test, but without removing them from the circuit at first, here are the results:
D45 -> 1.46MΩ
D31 -> 0.80MΩ
D33 -> 1.47MΩ
D35 -> 0.60MΩ
D37 -> 1.42MΩ
D39 -> 0.91MΩ
D41 -> 1.67MΩ
D43 -> 1.34MΩ
D46 -> 0.72MΩ
D32 -> 0.22MΩ
D34 -> 1.80MΩ
D36 -> 0
D38 -> 2.10MΩ
D40 -> 1.44MΩ
D42 -> 1.60MΩ
D44 -> 0.72MΩ
D36 seems to be a problem but I don't know what it corresponds to.

In circuit tests are usually worthless on a diode. You can either unsolder them on one side and lift leg to test or simply cut them out and replace them all as they are so cheap

Quoted from Blackbeard:

Space station seems amazing so far.
It actually feels like you're playing pinball in space. The lack of inlanes is brilliant, and it feels like the ball is a laser bouncing off satellites. The pf is a bit vast in the middle, like space. Mostly longer shots.
The sound and music are up there with BK2K, and just go SO well with the theme.
The pin feels very complete. Just very well done. I place it easily top 5 system 11s. My only gripe is the drops seems second thought. Yes, they increase bonus mulitplier, but they just seem too far back in the corner.

It may change your opinion on at least the location of the drops once you find out they’re a callback to the OG Space Shuttle. Identical location on both playfields!
