Unplug the special solenoid input/trigger connector and verify it still has the problem.
Which of those transistors is for the right slingshot? It's also possible the pre-driver or one of the logic ics is bad.

Probably not the transistor then looking at those readings, though it can't hurt to replace it anyway...
Since the coil fires on and off a bit, that doesn't sound like a transistor problem to me. Transistor would always be on or off if it was bad.

It doesn't do that at all, there are still at least 10 other components on the board alone involved in firing it. If the coil pulses it successfully its most likely not the coil at all.
