Flip power on and off twice quickly and it should allow you to coin up and start a game.

Correct, 2532 is the game #, and it's on revision 2 ROMs.
If it won't come off the diagnostic code, it could be bad RAM, and I've seen a failed 7404 cause this as well. But I can't diagnose this particular failure based off the limited information we have at this time. Just noting that those particular causes have happened before. Best to properly diagnose and repair it rather than shotgun.
