I'm going to look at a Space Shuttle on Monday morning. Condition is supposed to be good.
They're asking $800.
What would be a fair price or counter offer.
If the game is in really good shape, is $800 out of line.
Thanks in advance

$800 is not out of line - look for insert wear pretty common on these, a lot of people say they have space shuttle in nice shape then I see picts and the inserts and artwork are pretty bad, $950 for a very nice one $600 for a not so nice one.

I agree with Fusion tht price is not out of line. Check the ramp to. If its busted their almost impossible to find. However, I did see a post on RGP that Pinball Inc. will be remaking these. It hasn't happened yet though.

$500 players machine with repro translit
$1000 with original backglass and no work needed

what i'd pay

$600 take it or leave it. Yer crazy if you pay over $750 for it unless it's mint!

Fusion and Hawkeye nailed the post.
It is a great game I had a blast playing it again after 20+ years.
I heard they were making repros as well- shuttle, ramp and other odds and ends...
Similar to what they did with EATPM.
Pinbot will be my next machine from that era.
Good luck with the hunt pdman!

Well I got it for $650, put a $200 deposit on it and will pick it up on Saturday.

The good:
Very little playfield wear, Just needs a good cleaning and new rubber.
Looks like the owner did neither the whole time He had the Pin.
Cabinet and head in pristine condition.
Legs have no rust whatsoever.
Backglass in great condition.

The Bad:
Displays for players 2, 3 and 4 are not working.
I am taking a chance that it is going to be a minor issue and easy to troubleshoot and fix, considering at least Player 1 is working fine as is the credit display.

Has anyone had issues with System 9 displays?

One question for you guys. Does the Space Shuttle head come off of the body or does it fold down onto the body?
Forgot to look and just want to know so when I move it on Saturday, I'm prtepared.

Thanks in advance.
