I'm in need of some advice concerning my Space Shuttle. My machine is grounded. The lights for the scores and credits along with all the back panel started to dim and then I lost all lights on the back panel. I checked all fuses, they were all good but I'm not sure where to start checking voltages. The LED diagnostic display showed no problem but after I metered the voltages, the LED test display went dark. I've been looking for a local repair person but no luck yet. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm new to the repair world and am looking for advice on how to trouble shoot an issue with my Space Shuttle. The spinner is not scoring any points when I hit it. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot. That was quick, I'll check it right away.

Space Shuttle members. I'm trying to figure out why my U S A lane lights stopped working. On pg 25 of the schematic the 1J7-5 seems to be involved in the circuit the question ,isn't that the key? I replaced R 109 and I'm wondering if that is still the problem or should I look for a problem with Q 27? I also lost my 2x 3x 4x 5x 6x and 7x lights. Are those R 101 and which transistor. I'm trying to read the schematic to see if I need to reodo these resistors or look down the line of the circuit to a transistor or maybe a diode. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I just had my mpu repaired to fix problems with my lamps. Specifically the U S A lanes at the top aren't working correctly, no light no lane light coordination. My 2x 3x 4x etc lamps don't work and on the back box, the game over , high score stop and score, the entire bottom array of lamps don't work. Column 1 in the matrix and col 4. Repair the Q15 Q23 Q24 Q26 IC U54 tested OK. TIP42 replaced. But those matrix issues are still there. I rechecked my J7 connector and it seems OK. Any thoughts?

Space Shuttle drop down "T" target is not going down all the way and when the ball hits it the ball is shot upwards. Looking underneath I see 1 spring that might need to be replaced. Any tips on how much stuff I need to remove around the coil to access both sides of the spring?

Just received a new shuttle model and wondered what the holes were for on the front end near the nose. I read here that there is a wire piece that goes under the front of the shuttle which I never had. My question is what is that piece for?
