Hey guys, question, dealing with a malfunctioning machine. The flippers are not working in the game, but when the machine is put into test mode they operate as they should.

What is going on here?

Hey, I just got a space shuttle in that I'm going to try and repair for a guy.

It turns on, everything appears to be working great. When you coin up and start a game, the ball doesn't get kicked to the shooter lane and nothing on the PF lights up, no flippers.

In test mode the flippers fire well, and the P1 display on the backbox reads 2535 2.

What is a good place to start? I put in new batteries but that's all I've done.

Hey guys, I need help! I'm dealing with a switch not triggering in the trough. I have a thread with pics here:

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/space-shuttle-trough-microswitch-issue

The switch itself is responsive and works perfectly as far as I can tell. I think my issue is with the rollover wire but I'm not sure.

Ok guys I got the trough issue fixed and the game is playing but it's doing something odd during game play.

There are times following a ball being locked that the game kicks out two ball instead of one in rapid succession.

From what I can tell, it only occurs when the ball is locked in the right lock scoop.

If the ball is locked with the center 'T' target in the down position, a second ball is kicked out. I this 'T' target is up, there is no double kick out. But, the next time that the center target is dropped down during gameplay, it registers as a ball having been locked and the 3rd ball is kicked into the shooter lane.

It seems to me the problem is related to the this center T drop target and the right lock scoop.

None of this is happening when the first ball is locked on the left side of the table.

Hey guys, I need a new outhole switch. Know where I can find one?

Manual lists the part number as A-10417

Hello, member of the club here. I'm looking for a .pdf of the manual to print but the only source I can find is ipdb and it's blocked here at work. Anywhere else I can find it?

I have an MPU board that needs attention, it is cooked in a few spots beyond my repair abilities.

Does anyone have a recommendation on where to send? Thx.

Looking for help with solenoid #1, the outhole kicker.

Wiring orientation is red wire to the bottom lug, grey to the top (as it sits in place).

It is not firing in test, nor does it fire when a ball actuates the switch.

The switch registers in test.

The voltage at the coil is good.

If I jumper from the coil @ the grey wire to a ground braid it fires.

Board was recently serviced by a professional.

I am left to assume I have a broken wire? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: I have continuity from connector pin 1 @ end of wire (at connector) to the lug at the coil.
