Let us know if you continue to have problems with the scoring.

Quoted from BCpinhead:

Your thread has motivated me to try and get my SO sorted out too...(Snip).

If it were me I'd open a new thread. Lots-a helpful people here as bflagg says.

In the mean time -don't- let undetected coils stay switched on for more than a couple seconds. My own SM (4 player version) was found with a score reel coil stuck on too long. Someone had foiled the fuse, and thus the coil became a heat element. It scorched the frame, destroyed the plunger and associated parts. It also caught fire, burning the reel's switch harness and a relay armature above it.

Quoted from bflagg:

Now onto flaky sockets, flipper rebuilds, cleaning, waxing etc etc.

FIx for sockets:
Solder the holder to the base and move the wire from the solder tab to the post:

Touchup tip:
The overall space theme of the playfield has large areas with aqua-green clouds, black highlights and a dark blue background. Areas of these patterns were worn through to the wood on my Space Mission. Very ugly. I was able to create a couple new small black highlights/small clouds where there was originally only blue to hide the wood. It worked great.

Does your swinging target still trigger the stepping unit more than one space? Try readjusting the swinging target switch to prevent bouncing.
