I have a weird problem with my Space Odyssey. The first 1000 point switch hit registers but after that it’s not possible to score 1000 point shots anymore.

Also, the bonus counts down at the end of ball but no points are scored?? This is due to the bonus being in multiples of 1000.

Once 1000 is scored it cannot be scored for player one or two.

I have Space Odyssey but Space Mission is the 4 player version of Space Odyssey. It’s the same game.

Ok, I think I figured out what the problem is but I don’t know how to fix it. The 1000 point coil fires in the back box but it stays closed and doesn’t want to release all the time. I was firing it manually and sometimes it was fine other times it seized up....

I think I’ve got it going again. What it turned out to be was a switch on the 1000 point coil. I cleaned all of the switches and noticed one wasn’t making a firm connection when the coil triggered. After cleaning and adjusting the gap it seems to be working again.
