Tomorrow i go look at a 1976 williams space odyssey. The guy has replaced the power cord and adjusted the reels and relays so they work. He says the flippers work but at some point could use a rebuild. Needs rubbers. He is asking $400 which i think is a good price. He says the glass is a 7 or 8 and has been triple thicked. There are some blemishes on the front of the door too. I think he drilled out the lock, but has replaced it. I will do the rubbers and the lights.... Is this a decent deal?

Fantastic deal, by the looks of it! It's usually a good idea to rebuild the flippers and replace the rings on used EMs anyway.

It comes with playfield glass and legs, right?

Yes. The playfield looks real nice. Seems to be hardly any wear in front of the lower kickers and the upper kick-out holes which you usually find with this title.

Except for the backglass....in excellent condition. Needs a couple little things (like the corner things the hold the bolts inside the cabinet....one doesn't hold)...and one score reel has the number two all worn.... All contacts were cleaned and adjusted. Works great! Super happy with it!

And yes....it came with legs and the playfield glass....lol!

It's a good deal and a fun game. Nice score! I own a Space Odyssey also.

Nice. I paid $500 for mine last year with a slightly nicer backglass but slightly worse playfield I think.

I have a Space Mission. I think (and hope) it is a great deal. I probably overpaid for mine, because it wasn't working at the time, but it is solid now. Any working game, especially one this good and fun, is totally worth $400.

Hope you buy it. I think it is an awesome game.
