After playing and getting to know the space mission I have the following problem. On 1 or 4 players not the first ball but 2,3,4,5(set in 5 ball, set 3 balI all balls), I can play the game fine but at some point when I have lit up all bonus and specials and spinners etc. the pin stops scoring. It will make a tick on all the targets, pop bumpers and saucer holes Then,,,,,, it starts to score again. This happens not all the time but most.

That's a pretty weird problem Smersh.

Do I understand this right?

When the A-B-C sequence is completed -and- the spinner is lit then it intermittently stops scoring. Both jet bumpers, shooters, kickouts and flippers continue to manipulate the balls but no score is made. It happens only on a 1 player game or 4 player game and only the 1st ball is effected.

Assuming that is right, what happens when the ball strikes an object which tallies 50 or 500 points like the kickout holes or shooters? Does the shooters and holes score normally while the rest do not? Does the Super Advance U-turn lane work normally?

You say it makes a "tick" on all targets etc when it's not working right. Is this "tick" coming from the row of relays in the head/back of the machine? If so, do these relays lock in or do they just tick and release?

My first instinct says the Player unit is not operating normally. Either it's not advancing and resetting properly and/or some shoes on the rotor is not making proper contacts on the rivets.
