Wanted to know what everyone's opinion about fixing/modding a game goes. I just got a space invaders with a ok cabinet has some wood that broke off and the colors are faded. I want to repair the cabinet and primer it completely inside and out. Ordered a stencil for the game but my main thing is its base is black with gray and red. What if I replace the gray with neon green. I think it would look sick and my plan is to go black lights on playfield and use green underneath. Again just asking is this a Nono or as long it comes out good people will say maybe?

Anyone think using neon green for the gray would look neat?
