Wondering if ok to just swap out gi and back box and chaser lights with leds? I read you need to change the lamp driver board for inserts, but if I leave those as standard can I just swap the others with no issue?

    They'll flicker.

The lamp driver doesn't drive these though.

Its a separate lamp chaser board. If I recall, its mounted to the back of the backbox door.

I just did it without issue, but have ordered upgrade boards anyway.

The chasers are driven by an AS-2518-52 aux lamp driver. The aux lamp boards are hit and miss if they can run LED's without modification, some games run LED"s fine, some flicker.

The lamp driver upgrade is for insert lamps only.

I did this wall project a few years back, it takes all the boards to run the backbox just like it was in the actual attract mode. It even shows the HSTD. Somewhere's I've got better pictures of it but you get the idea and it takes up less room then the game....LOL.

Siegecraft has boards for both the lamp driver and auxiliary lamp driver. Here's the link for the aux board, but they're cheap, so buy the set lol:

I bought a head from an operator and did the same thing, just haven't mounted it yet.

Jakusa, your machine is perfect! Can I ask if you used a kit or picked them out yourself? Wondering what bulbs you used.
