Edit: After closer look I got my bearing, yep it looks like that bad boy snapped to me. I'm gonna go look at my SP right now.
Edit: Yep, the circled part where it snapped is part of the frame that houses the trip solenoid Number 27b page 70 & 71 in the manual SPI part number 535-6198-01 (Trip coil frame weldment bottom). Not sure if you can get that part or not. If not you could always try to get the frame welded at the snap point but you will first need to take the whole assembly out to remove the other half of the frame.
