So everything was working UNTIL you plugged in the profanity chipset?
Did you check the F23 4A S.B. Fuse (5v logic) on the driver board? I can't tell for sure but it doesn't look right in the picture, if no 5v is getting to the boards that'd explain. As for what blew the fuse in the first place, if all you did was replace a bunch of chips then I'd think you have a bad chip or one went in backwards. If F23 is blown then something shorted the 5v.
