Hello! I just joined the club last Saturday and I’ve made a major mistake: I tried to remove some bad Mylar from the pop bumpers. I had a playfield that was in great shape. Now, Cartman is missing half of his face.

I’m not an artist by any stretch, but I figured it’s a half circle, dot, 4 short curved lines and some color matching. I planned on acrylic paint and using an eye dropper to level Minwax polycrylic with the playfield. Then, I’m reapplying new Mylar protectors in front of the bumpers.

I am terrified! I’ve never done anything like this before; do you have any advice to help me fix my mess?

Quoted from 72Devilz:

I think making a waterslide decal is probably your best bet to match in this situation considering the artwork damage is on an insert.

Thank you for the quick response! I haven’t been able to find waterslide decals for this insert. Do you, or anybody else here have a good scan of Cartman’s face? Also, is there anybody on Pinside that creates the slides? I’ve looked locally, but would love to support whoever here offers the service.

I checked out the schematic and took some pictures of my coin door. Looks like White/Yellow is your right coin slot. White/Blue is your left coin slot. White/Green is your NC. Both of my NO's are soldered on and have a resistor connecting them to CON, but there's also a bill acceptor on mine; I couldn't tell if yours had the same.
