    Easier to replace the whole plug. I used a small vise to hold jones plugs. Take a torch and heat up the jones plug assembly and pull all the conductors out noting where they go of course. Then, replace the conductors and solder them one at a time until you're done. Make sure they are secure in the pins - I pull on the individual conductors to make sure the solder tinned good and they don't pull out. Took me about an hour or so to do a 10 or 12 pin.

    All the big box stores carry the Benzomatic 2-piece kit - propane bottle and nozzle/tip. For another $5 you can get 2 small spools of different types solder and a brush.
