Balrog lamp (resized).jpg

I need to purchase both the LED lamp and the switch for the Balrog on my LOTR machine (which was converted to LEDs by a prior owner). The LED lamp was physically broken, with the forward part rattling around loose inside the Balrog. The switch appears to be flaky in operation (and yes, I have replaced the wires in the harness already). Anyone know of good sources for these?

The switch has a part number visible (SS-5GL2T) and I've found it listed on the web sites of some electronic supply houses I've never done business with for less than $3, but I'm not finding it on any pinball-related vendor site I'm familiar with. It's available from Amazon, but for nearly $10. Presumably I should get a new diode while I'm at it rather than reusing the old one?

The lamp has only the identifier "PB+" on the side, nothing else (see photo). From reading through some threads here I gather it's a a 12V lamp rather than the 6.3V types used elsewhere in the game. One of the threads suggested Marco Pinball has them, but I've been unable to find the appropriate lamp on their site.

I'd appreciate any pointers folks can provide me for obtaining these parts.

This switch will work fine : http://www.pinballlife.com/index.php?p=product&id=1382

Use a new diode 1N4001, 1N4004, or 1N4007 , and one of these three will work.

Comet carries a bulb specifically for balrog, it's 12v but with a #44/47 base.

And as luck would have it I have two 1N4004 diodes in my kit. For once, I actually have something I need.
