So I was playing Stern Star Trek pro (2013) at our local arcade. Immediately I noticed how good the sound quality was from this machine. It is the Sam system like my Metallica pro. But Star Trek sounds like a high definition sound compared to my Metallica which in comparison sounds like standard definition.

Given that both machines are from Stern, same year 2013 using same Sam system etc. I wonder why one sounds much better than the other?

I assume they have the same speakers, amp etc. Could it be the quality of the recorded source?
