Spy Hunter
Bally, 1984I have the sound working on my restoration project "Spy Hunter". I have both the turn pot on the Cheap Squeak board and the one in the coin door set to max. The sound is just normal audible levels. I would expect at this level I should be getting a hissing sound from overdriving but not here. Is this normal for the mid 80s and is there a way to get it louder? I'm used to playing an EM that's loud and this seems tame in comparison. Thanks, Darren
If your going to order parts and do minor board work, you may as well order replacement capacitors!

Advice was dead on. Now if its over amped I'm hearing it, as expected. I was able to tune both the coin door volume and this new pot to find the sweet spot. I bet my wife can hear it upstairs now. Thanks!
