In the game, 95% of the time it boots slowly, long delay between each LED flash. On the bench (12V, 5V, and -5V applied) it boots quickly every time.

Sound board 12V test point tested at 14VDC with 300mV ripple when installed in the game (TP3).

Replaced C23 on the driver/regulator board and also some headers that looked sketchy on the driver/regulator board and sound board. Haven't installed back into game yet.

Other symptoms when the sound board was installed in the game (besides slow booting) was missed speech callouts on switch triggers, music behaving funky, and general oddness. When the boat booted quickly in the game (once), everything seemed to work fine.

Anything else folks think I should be looking at?

Boot issues resolved by replacing connector to J1.
