Hi all,

I just bought a Sorcerer, when I press the start button, the game does not start. Im really not familiar with system 9 games, so Im having trouble with navigating though the systems diagnostics, Im much more familiar with newer games like TOTAN and TAF. Does anyone know of an easy to read guide or even video that explains how to go through all the diagnostics modes on a system 9? I wasn't to get down to the bottom of why my machine wont start a game.

Are there credits displayed?

Is the tilt light on?

Do both ball switches register in Switch Test?

Im not sure how to navigate to the switch test, how is that done in a system 9?

The game turns on and on all the displays, only zeroes are listed.

I just realized that the drop targets are stuck in the down position. Im wondering if that would be the cause of the game not starting.

Start with Vid's advice.

1) Check the switches in the ball trough. Make sure they are closed when the balls are in the trough.
2) Is the game in tilt mode?

These are the two most common issues when a game cannot be started.
