Was quite surprised at this one. Got two of three targets down, but after the timeout they didn't pop back up. The game continued to repeat the timeout sound loop.

After knocking the last target down they still didn't pop up, and the score counter continued to rack up points in a loop.

Powered off the machine for a little bit, turned it back on, and once a game is started I immediately start racking up points in a loop again.

Will try unplugging the machine for a bit and seeing if that has an affect.

Anyone ever come across an issue like this?

When you enter the switch test, what does it tell you?

#3 9 years ago

It says that all three target switches are held down along with the two ramp switches (the balls are loaded in the machine).

I may open up the playfield and just pop the targets back up. See any potential issue with that?

You can probably just lift each drop from the top of the playfield.

Take the balls out, and drop one target at a time to see what the switch test says.

Well, the issue wasn't too hard to find after all once I opened up the playfield.

Thanks for the help by the way. I learned a lot about the machine going through the debug menus on it. Pretty nice in comparison to trying to debug older EM machines.
