Hi All,

I'm currently running Sorcerer playfields and want to print them Tuesday. The artwork is prepared and ready to print. During final art check I have discovered that there are two versions of the playfield made. Please see also this from ipdb:

Two different playfield color schemes have been identified for this game. The differences are found in the color of the sorcerer’s robe and trim, the colors of the feathers on the skull located just above the upper flipper, and the colors of the feathers on the skull located below the upper flipper. We have viewed several playfields and find the two versions can be defined as follows:

• Royal purple robe with pink trim. Both skulls have green and red feathers.
• Blue robe with red trim. Upper skull has red and white feathers. Lower skull has green, red, and white feathers.

We do not know if this represents a change of colors made during the production run or is evidence of two different companies screening the playfield. The sorcerer’s robe extends onto the plastic light shield that covers the center target bank and in all instances this plastic appears to be a dark blue (or han purple) color. Perhaps this suggests the robe was originally blue and then was changed to purple. Our images of an Early Production game are not clear enough to assist this theory. The flyer game shows the royal purple version.

My question is now which version do you want? Is there demand for both or just for one? Please email or PM me if you are looking for a specific version and maybe you can take a pic of your current playfield if it is different than the master I have here right now.

Timeframe: They will be read for purchase in 2 weeks if we can get the color situation figured out till Wednesday.

They will be 839 USD shipped to USA.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Regards,
Mirco

i prefer the royal purple, since that's the color of my plastics......not sure how many they made of each but I can only remember seeing purple at shows.

When I look at the upper Sorcerer's beard it is grey, compared to light blue lines in the lower one, is that the same on yours? Only difference would be the purple?

I vote purple, that’s the colour of my playfield, backglass and plastics.
Thanks

I have the same playfield here as you show in your pictures. I prefer to purchase that colour scheme

I believe the blue robe playfields were early sample type games and they changed the colors for the actual production run. There are not that many blue colored playfields out there.

compared to the plastic the purple is badly faded on the sample, so I would stick to the plastic and flyer color

Good decision Mirco.

It looks like no one wants the blue so far which makes it easier...

My problem is that I have no clue how many playfields I need right away and have the feeling that the demand might be higher than what I expected.

It would be great if you email or PM me if you are interested in a playfield and or plastic set. There will be a combo deal as well. All plastic sets will be made out of an unbreakable plastic and there is no chance to remove the ink from the plastic without scratching the surface with a screwdriver or similar...

I guess I will do the same for Quicksilver once it is almost ready. I can always rerun them any time but there would be a delay of 10 to 14 days...

Have you set a price for the Sorcerer playfield/plastics combo?

#15 5 years ago

Mine is purple/pink. The plastic appears a richer purple than the light in these photos shows. Here are a couple detail pics of my worn playfield a detail of my backglass.

I am 100% in on the combo. Super excited about this!

#17 5 years ago

Thanks a lot for your help! I think I know how it has to look like...

The plastic set will be made out of unbreakable material and with my new system look exactly the same way as laser cutted plastics. This material cannot be laser cutted...

The combo price will be 939 usd shipped. Plastics alone 139 usd.

Mirco

Nice. Will the plastic set include the key fob as well?

#19 5 years ago

I already have a brand new set of plastics that Planetary ran. I hope they match your playfield.

#20 5 years ago

Beyond excited for this.

#21 5 years ago

Can you please email me some pics of the set? I will check with rick for PMS colors...

Ok, I will offer a blue/red version as well. I will do this version for plastics as well as it would look weird otherwise...

Everybody who want this version please contact me and please put blue version in the mail or PM.

Mirco
