I joined the club this week.
It's been on my hit list for a couple of years now.
A nice example and play very nice.
The game to me does have that, just one more game feeling.

Quoted from FalconPunch:

Just joined the club
Getting crazy air balls off the left flipper
put some velco infront and behind the the target....it helps, but I can still get airballs that jump over slingshots to the outlane.
How to fix!

You need to hit it at the right angles.
Just like the safe to stop it draining.
But your right, it's viciously quick after hitting that target.
Never thought I would see dimples on mirror blades.
I wouldn't dare use PDI on this.
And keep Edy away from it
I had a ripper game on mine last night.

Quoted from Delta9:

That split second that the target isn’t falling down is the cause of the air ball if you tighten the shit out of that spring youll have a way funnier game trust me you wont be sorry

Making the drop target drop without as much pressure to activate it?

What's the procedure in installing the NV Ram as I'm doing mine this weekend?
I'm guessing it's just a matter of pulling the batteries out and pulling the chip out, replace the chip with NV Ram and turn pin back on?
I assume it defaults your settings back to factory?
