Just joined the F****** club! Got a decent deal on the game, but it needs a ton of work. Coin door was drilled to accommodate an arcade card reader, so that's toast (no mechs either). DMD is starting to fail. Light-hack in the backbox. Flipper buttons worn to the wood. The common plastics are broken like you would imagine. Should be a fun project!

I've attached pics so you can see what it looks like in its current condition. Interested in any leads on a coin door and DMD. I think I'll go with an LED strip backbox mod. It will fix the problem and improve the lighting. Lollipop rails already ordered, so I should be good to go there.

Update so far:
- Replaced the dying DMD with one I got from Lermods (thanks dude!)
- Added red DMD filter. Huge improvement.
- Added lollipop rails to cover the flipper wear. Again, huge improvement.
- Added green superbands to the flippers, and have red titan rubbers for the rest of the playfield.
- Eliminated that terrible light hack and replaced it with Lermods backbox LED mod (thanks AGAIN dude). Looks a million times better.
- Tossed in four new super-shiny pinballs.
- Added NVRAM
- Replaced the missing boat drop target, and picked up an extra just in case.

I have some replacement plastics in transit, a brand new coin door on the way, and my pinbits plastic protectors just showed up today. Should be pretty much completely done within a week or so. I included some before and after pics.

New coin door is installed! Also forgot to mention that I swapped the shooter rod and springs. The old shooter rod was destroyed. Totally mushroomed and left metal shavings all over the playfield. Yuck.

Just need to install the rest of the titans, some pinbits, and two plastics, and it's a wrap.

Last update for the night: Picked up a broken dock plastic from another great pinsider. While it might be broken, it looks completely fine now that I have a pinbits protector running underneath it.
