I am a total rookie when it comes to working on Stern pinball machines. I would like to change audio eproms on Sopranos from Italian to English. If I understand correctly all the eproms (CPU, display and audio) should be the same version. Can I download the English Pinmame eproms (version 5.0) from IPDB, burn them on eproms and replace the Italian ones? I would also like to install the NVRAM chip on the CPU board. Do I just need to replace the chip at U212 with Ramtron FM1608?
Thank you for your help.

The Italian call outs are more authentic on the Soprano game. Keep it.

It's fun for awhile but gets old.. yes to nvram question -- can't remember the chip location # but it is as easy as pulling out a chip and replacing it , remove batteries of course.. I bought new English Roms from Marco but I don't see why you could not burn your own if you have the chip burner
