Thank you for sharing this! Question (apologies if this was aleady discribed!): How are you doing the cad? Fusion360 it appears, but what license/version? Also, there is talk of overlaying VPX with MPF or something like that? What are those? Is VPX VisualPinball? Was there anything done so that you could export from your Visual Pinball model to Fusion? Or did you have to carefully start from scratch?

Can you tell us about the flow- did you have to move things slightly after initial build up to get the flow right? Or was it pretty much on the money? Looks like you farmed out the CNC routing work, or did you build/obtain your own? Last question: 3D print filament: ABS? PETG? PLA?

Thanks!

McSquid - I wonder if it is possible to simulate some of the bonus games, like in Sonic 2 when Sonic runs through the course getting rings/avoiding bombs, or in Sonic 1 with the spinning areas... What you have looks really cool!

Have I gone crazy (or maybe you explain this earlier...) But, are those Sonic head logos on your flipper bats, instead of the Williams W?

Love the work you've done here! Have you given much thought to the final art style of the game yet? One of the things I always loved about the original Sonic on genesis, was the low-poly artwork (low-poly on purpose, much lower res than the system was capable of, and seen in other games of the era, like I think Virtua-Fighter?) I remember reading about it somewhere, where the game designers had dedicated people on staff to ensure all art was consistent and fit with the look/feel/style of the rest of the game. Can't wait to see what you've got in store!
