How did you manage to bend those rails so perfectly when everybody else's custom rails, including my own, have exit ends that are in some way bent or misshapen?

Yep, that's how it seems. My own build made it to the DIY news sites too (no contact) full of outdated and outright incorrect information.

Can confirm, using this on my current homebrew as well. Stainless .048" worked very well for my needs, very sturdy but still reasonably bendable in the shop.
I have a bunch of cutting templates and premade shapes in Inkscape, PM me if you want anything!
Yessss! Can't wait to give this one a shot. I assume they'll have a homebrew section again, so I'll be hanging around nearby!
It was great to meet you yesterday and have my first real-life glimpse of Sonic. Didn't get a chance to play it yet but I will be giving it a shot at first opportunity.

Oh yeah, you can tell when a game is designed by someone who loves the material, versus someone just "doing their job" designing to a given theme. From what little I had the chance to experience on this game, it's pretty clear you knew every little franchise detail and how to work it into a pinball element. I've barely even followed the actual Sonic series and even I can tell how much effort was put into this design.
