Keith Elwin copied your ramp! Congratulations!

Quoted from Crash:More details please.
Just joking but the new Avengers has a fat ramp that you can hit from both lower flippers and the upper flipper just like Sonic. I think it’s a hell of a compliment even if it’s just a coincidence.
Really great animation! A lot to be depressed about these days. Take care of yourself! Love seeing the progress!
Mention starts about 22 minutes in if you don’t want to listen to the whole podcast. I agree it would be a great title to get produced but I think the license is unlikely because of sega’s pinball past. But that’s why it’s smart to make it as a home brew. Doesn’t make sense to home brew something that will likely get made.
Quoted from UNCgump:Sorry if you've explained this previously elsewhere, but I'm curious how you go about coding the scoring from scratch and coding/compiling any graphics and sound. Is there a guide somewhere on those aspects of homebrews? Standard software most people use? I might be curious to embark on a similar project with my kids in a few years.
Mission Pinball Framework. It’s got everything you need.
Quoted from McSquid:I used a combination of aftereffects and windows movie maker along with a few free online tools
MPF is what keeps score obviously but I’ve always been curious how score display incorporates with animations. Is there a score overlay that is designed in mpf that exists over the animations unless told otherwise?
Quoted from McSquid:Mpf does it all. It basically works like PowerPoint. Mpf makes slides with widgets on them. You tell it where everything goes and what slide. Including videos, text, images, animations etc. Even a video is just a slide with a single video widget
Thanks! Looks like I’ve got some reading to do!
Awesome tutorial! I’ve watched you play on twitch so many times and now I fully understand what’s happening haha.
Quoted from BorgDog:Nice. Game Gear is where I did most of my Sonic playing back in the day... wonder what I ever did with the game gear.
Me too! Loved that damn game gear.
That scroll animation does look pretty freaking awesome. If that’s how you pictured all the levels you can always just do them slowly over time when you get bored.
