I'll start this thread with Al Stewart's "Soho (Needless to Say)."
Link with lyrics below in which pinball is grouped with sin halls!
Please post links with lyrics to other songs mentioning pinball (other than Pinball Wizard).

this was a White Stripes B-side called "Hand Springs", from a Compilation Album called "Hot Pinball Rock"
How about this, possibly the only song about a specific game. Anyone got any others? Great song, but odd lyrics that seem to believe pinball is gambling.
Well, you get a couple nickels and you put one in
You lever up the ball and then you grab the pin
You pull it back a little and you let her roll
The rhythm of your body keeps it under control
[Chorus]
You do the pinball boogie
Woo, the pinball boogie
Yes, the pinball boogie
You rattle and shake it 'til it gets in the hole
[Verse 2]
Now if you're weak and hungry and you got no dough
You spare yourself a dime and you forget your woes
Split the dime in two and put a nickel in
And shake it while you watch the little pinball spin
[Chorus]
You do the pinball boogie
Woo, the pinball boogie
Yes, the pinball boogie
You rattle and shake it 'til it gets in the hole
[Instrumental Break]

Upvoted for getting the cliche done. However, see post #1. . .Pinball Wizard excluded. . .
Can’t forget one of my namesake’s! Lonnie Irving!
This one is about losing everything to Pinball including your wife kids and all your money!
I've been making a pinball-themed playlist on Spotify but can't seem to find it anymore. Oh well, I remember a few from it. This one's a banger:
And this is one with the same title makes me want to play an old beat up EM in a honky tonk:
The kid say, "I ain't got no dough, I just want some OJ"
I said, "Don't look at me" (cuz he was lookin' my way)
Cecil winks upon him some juice and some green
And the kid walks over and puts the quarter in the pinball machine
Quoted from Medisinyl:"ride the ferris wheel" callout, and some system 11 sounds (may all just be from Cyclone).
this album had a bunch of pinball references... Earthshaker on this track for instance... i love Mr Bungle
nobody has mentioned it yet but there's the Pointer Sisters Sesame Street pinball number count
and my favorite remix of it by Venetian Snares '12'

Did not know that was the Pointer Sisters. I always loved that animation.song is catchy as hell!!
Maybe not a verbal reference but how about this cool video reference from a Eagles concert where they had custom Eagles Pinball playing behind them on the big screen.
Someone in the band must be a pinhead!
So the titles mentioned are video games (but Defender was both?), but in live versions he often intro'd it with an explanation about his love of pinball
So far, I have written 25 columns for PinGame Journal on this topic. Most of the songs mentioned in this thread have been mentioned in past issues; the column started with issue #58. Too much to type in here!

A little fun fact - Mr. Lordi was the chairman of Kiss Army Finland in the '90s. He was playing my friends Bally Kiss, but complained how "the sounds are badly out of tune"
Pinball (ft. Tandemoro)
Great song from the soundtrack of Dave Made a Maze. Which is itself a great movie.

Just watched tonight. Definitely "outside the box"!
I can’t remember the name of the song, but there was one I vaguely recall that mentioned pinball in it. The lyrics went something like, Ever since I was a young boy I've played the silver ball
From Soho down to Brighton
I must have played 'em all
But I ain't seen nothing like him
In any amusement hall
That deaf, dumb and blind kid
Sure plays a mean pinball
He stands like a statue
Becomes part of the machine
Feeling all the bumpers
Always playing clean
He plays by intuition
The digit counters fall
That deaf, dumb and blind kid
Sure plays a mean pinball
He's a pinball wizard
There has got to be a twist
A pinball wizard's
Got such a supple wrist
How do you think he does it? I don't know
What makes him so good?
Ain't got no distractions
Can't hear no buzzers and bells
Don't see no lights a-flashin'
Plays by sense of smell
Always gets a replay
Never seen him fall
That deaf, dumb and blind kid
Sure plays a mean pinball
I thought I was
The Bally table king
But I just handed
My pinball crown to him
Even on my favorite table
He can beat my best
His disciples lead him in
And he just does the rest
He's got crazy flipper fingers
Never seen him fall
That deaf, dumb and blind kid
Sure plays a mean pinball
